2016 SEASON
Finished fourth on team in average as a freshman hitting .313...saw action in 37 games with 34 starts...20 hits, four doubles, one home run and 10 RBIs.
2017 SEASON
Saw action in 21 games....one home run and three RBIs.
2018 SEASON
Saw action mainly behind the plate…Had a four game hitting streak … Had four multiple hits games and a pair of multi-RBI games…Season best 2-for-3 with two RBIs against Morgan State.
2019 SEASON
Sarah Kollas will graduate in May 2019 with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology and finished with a Grade Point Average of 3.78. She played most of the season behind the plate as catcher for Hampton. At the plate, she was 1- for- 2 with two Runs Scored, two RBI’s, against Gardener-Webb University. Kollas has been accepted into the University of South Florida College of medicine, where she plans to attend fall 2019.
DR. PHILLIPS HIGH SCHOOL
Was named Rookie of the Year as a freshman after batting. 282 and boasting an .883 fielding percentage… hit .365 as a sophomore and bumped her fielding percentage up to .971, earning the Heart and Hustle Award… won the district title as a sophomore… set a record for fielding percentage (.995) as a junior, while also hitting .368 and boasting a .427 on-base percentage… hit .357 as a senior and was named First Team All-Metro… was also named FACA All-Star Softball Squad East MVP… set a record for most RBIs in a season… also played soccer all four years… was named Most Improved as a sophomore… set a record for saves in a match as a junior… was First Team All-Metro as a goalkeeper her senior season.

Born Oct. 25, 1996… daughter of Beth Boyer-Kollas and Chad Kollas… has one brother, Paul (23)… was featured in the West Orange Times… wants to major in kinesiology… plans to pursue a career in physical therapy for special needs children.
