Played in 10 games for the Lady Pirates… averaged 0.4 points and 0.8 rebounds a game… scored two points at Norfolk State on Feb. 28 and again against Norfolk State in the first round of the MEAC Championships… pulled down a career-high three rebounds at Georgetown on Nov. 25.
HILLSIDE HIGH SCHOOL
Lettered in basketball and volleyball… led Hillside to the state playoffs in 2007 and 2008, compiling a four-year record of 92-20… won the PAC-6 conference tournaments in 2007 and 2008… averaged 7.3 points, 4.6 blocks and 3.4 rebounds per game… student body vice president.
PERSONAL
Born in Durham, N.C…. daughter of Emanuel and Dorothy McGirt... wants to study broadcast journalism and physical therapy at Hampton University… lists her parents as her biggest influences, because they guided her in such a way that she isn’t solely defined by her athletic prowess.
