HARRISONBURG, Va. -- The Hampton men's tennis team headed northwest in the commonwealth on Tuesday and fell 7-0 to James Madison University.

In doubles, the tandems of
Charles Hudson and
Fernando Fernandes at line one and the duo of Davy van Geerke and
Luke Thompson at line two each lost a 6-3 set. Singles saw Hudson take Eugene Clue at line four into a third-set tiebreaker as Clue won 4-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-5).
Hampton now heads to South Carolina for a pair of conference matchups starting with Presbyterian on February 16.
