HAMPTON, VA-- The Hampton University men's tennis team fell 6-1, as they hosted the University of California Riverside on a sunny Thursday morning at Neilson-Screen Stadium.
In doubles,
Fernando Fernandes and Charles Hudson won at line two doubles, but the Highlanders took line one and three to earn the team point. Singles saw Davy van Geerke take a three set win at line one over Kyle McCann 1-6, 7-6 (7-4), 1-0 (10-7) for the lone Hampton point.
Hampton will travel to Farmville, Virginia Friday April 5 as they take on Longwood University.
