BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – The Hampton women's tennis team fell on Saturday to host Gardner-Webb 7-0 to finish a Big South Conference opening road trip.

In doubles, the hosts won 6-0 at line one and 6-1 at line three to clinch the team point.  Singles saw Laura Peralta fall 6-1, 6-3 at line three to Mayumi Saguchi  to lead Hampton.

The Lady Pirates continue their swing by visiting Radford on Wednesday.
