SOCCER FALLS ON SENIOR DAY TO CHARLESTON SOUTHERN

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – A goal in each half by visiting Charleston Southern provided the eventual margin as the Buccaneers defeated Hampton 2-0 on Senior Day at Wanner Stadium.
Bri Robinson put in a rebound off a free kick just 79 seconds into the contest, while Erin Rush scored on a penalty kick after a handball in the 81st minute.
Hampton was outshot 14-8, while goalie Sydney Johnson recorded 10 saves for the Lady Pirates.
Next up for Hampton will be a trip to Radford for a Wednesday night matchup with the Highlanders at 7 pm.
