CLEVELAND, Ohio (February 27, 2024) … The National Association of Athletic Development Directors (NAADD) recognized 38 recipients of the 17th Annual Diversity Initiative Program.
Hampton Associate Director of Athletics for Advancement, Joseph Walters, was honored among the award winners. Walters spearheaded the development of the Hampton Athletics Foundation and increased giving levels to the University's athletics program. He was also instrumental in securing the largest gift in Hampton Athletics' history: a multi-year partnership with regional bank, TowneBank.
The NAADD Diversity Initiative Awards provide convention stipends to minority (ethnic and gender) fundraisers involved in the organization. NAADD is committed to creating and reinforcing an inclusive environment where networking and professional development opportunities are fostered and nurtured.
Recipients will receive stipends to attend the 2024 NAADD Convention June 9-12 at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.
