2012 JUNIOR SEASON
Started in all 10 games for the Pirates… was second on the team with 80 tackles on the season, including 31 solo stops… had a season-high 14 tackles (six solo) against Bethune-Cookman on Sept. 29… also had 11 tackles (six solo) against Savannah State on Oct. 27, as well as 10 tackles (seven assisted) at Howard on Nov. 3… had 1.5 sacks on the season… had 5.5 tackles for loss on the season, ranking fifth on the team… recorded his lone interception of the season against Norfolk State on Oct. 13, returning it for a touchdown.

2011 SOPHOMORE SEASON
Second Team All-MEAC… started in all 11 games for the Pirates… led the team with 110 tackles, including 41 solo stops… tied for third in the MEAC with 10.0 tackles per game… had a career-high 18 tackles (seven solo) against Howard on Nov. 5… added 17 tackles (eight solo) at Old Dominion on Sept. 17… had 12 tackles each against Princeton (Oct. 8) and at Norfolk State (Oct. 15)… fifth on the team with 7.5 tackles for a loss of 21 yards… recorded his lone sack of the season against North Carolina Central on Oct. 22… intercepted two passes and returned them 46 yards against Delaware State on Nov. 12.

2010 FRESHMAN SEASON
Started in all 11 games for the Pirates… was sixth on the team with 62 tackles (30 solo, 32 assisted) on the season… recorded a season-high 10 tackles (five solo, five assisted) at North Carolina Central and against Bethune-Cookman (two solo, eight assisted)… recorded seven tackles (six solo, one assisted) at Central Michigan… had six tackles (three solo, three assisted) at Morgan State… fourth on the team with 5.0 tackles for loss.

GATEWAY HIGH SCHOOL
Played football all four years… was on the JV squad as a freshman, scoring 15 touchdowns… moved up to varsity as a sophomore, recording 82 tackles and earning Honorable Mention honors… has 113 tackles and an interception as a sophomore, earning Second Team All-Conference accolades… named First Team All-Conference as a senior after recording 78 tackles in just six games… has 21 tackles in one game as a senior… helped Gateway win consecutive conference titles as a sophomore, junior and senior… also played JV basketball as a freshman, averaging 10 points a game.

PERSONAL
Born Feb. 12, 1992… son of Annetta and Delbert Tyler… has two sisters: Melissa (26) and Maya (18)… cousins Ryan Rawlings, Eddie Henderson and Maya Henderson are all Hampton University graduates… featured in The Times Express… majoring in business management… wants to play professional football and become a business executive for Nike.
