2006 • JUNIOR SEASON
Sheridan Broadcasting Network (SBN) All-American… First Team All-MEAC selection… started all 12 games at defensive end… led all HU defensive linemen in tackles for the second straight season with 55, which ranked third on the squad… second in the MEAC with 15.5 tackles for loss, helping the Pirates finish second in the country in that category… led the team and was third in the league with career-high eight sacks for -57 yards on the year… also added a forced fumble and a blocked kick… dominated the line of scrimmage against Morgan State, totaling seven tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss and two sacks, while also teaming up with Just Durant to record a safety with a stop in the end zone… matched his career-high with nine tackles (4 solo and 2 for loss) versus Winston-Salem State and three sacks against Bethune-Cookman… also forced a fumble against Bethune-Cookman… set a new career-high with six solo tackles (8 total) at South Carolina State… had a key blocked field goal in the season opener against Grambling State, allowing the Pirates to come from behind and earn the overtime victory… turned in two tackles for loss and a sack in the NCAA Playoffs against New Hampshire.

2005 • SOPHOMORE SEASON
Started all 12 games along the defensive front… First Team All-MEAC… finished second on the team in total tackles with 65, including 31 solo stops… led the Pirates and as second in the MEAC in tackle for loss with 15.5 for a loss of 65 yards… his 4.5 sacks were the second most on the team and ranked seventh in the conference… turned in a career day in the win over Delaware State when he posted a team-high nine tackles (4 solo), five tackles for loss and three sacks to earn MEAC Defensive Player of the Week honors… also led the Pirates in tackles at North Carolina A&T with nine… registered three stops behind the line of scrimmage in the Battle of the Bay against Norfolk State, ending the game with seven tackles… blocked extra point attempts at Howard and against Savannah State… also forced a fumble at Gardner-Webb and broke up two passes.

2004 • FRESHMAN SEASON
Langford quickly worked his way into the starting rotation for the Pirates … He saw playing time in all 12 games for the year … Made the starting job along the defensive line in three contests … Registered a total of 44 tackles on the year, good enough to finish sixth on the team in that category … Went hard for 15 solo stops … Posted a team second-best 11.5 tackles behind the line of scrimmage … Finished second on the squad in sacks (6) … Posted a career/season-high six tackles (three solo), including three behind the line of scrimmage, against Howard … Also recorded one quarterback hurry in that contest … Had, undoubtedly, his best game of the year at South Carolina State with four tackles (three solo) and one fumble recovery for his only touchdown of the year on a 30-yard return.

PETERSBURG HIGH SCHOOL
Played his high school ball at Petersburg High School … While playing with the Crimson Wave, Langford earned First Team All-District honors as a junior (2002) … He went on to claim numerous honors in his senior season … These include First Team All-District, Second Team All-Metro and Second Team All-Region.

PERSONAL
Kendall Langford is the son of Calvin and Ardee Langford … He was born on January 27, 1986 … Langford decided to attend HU because of the good education background … He says while at Hampton University, he wants to win another MEAC Championship.
