2011 R-SENIOR SEASON
Started the first four games of the season… recorded 26 tackles, including 14 solo stops… had a career-high 10 tackles (including seven solo) against Alabama A&M in the season-opening Chicago Football Classic on Sept. 3… intercepted his only pass of the season against Florida A&M on Sept. 8… had a tackle for loss at Old Dominion on Sept. 17… earned a medical redshirt.

2010 SENIOR SEASON
Played in 10 games for the Pirates, starting in all 10… tied for eighth on the team in tackles with 33 (19 solo, 14 assisted)… recorded five tackles in a game four times – at Central Michigan, at Howard, vs. Norfolk State and at South Carolina State… intercepted a pass at Howard… had 2.5 tackles for loss on the season… forced two fumbles on the season – one at South Carolina State and one vs. Old Dominion.

2009 JUNIOR SEASON
Played in 10 games for the Pirates, starting at Alabama A&M and North Carolina A&T… ninth on the team with 27 tackles (12 solo, 15 assisted) on the season… recorded a season-high eight tackles (five solo, three assisted) at Alabama A&M… had five assisted tackles against Morgan State… had 3.0 tackles for loss on the season… forced a fumble against Florida A&M… recorded a pair of quarterback hurries… broke up one pass and defended another.

2008 SOPHOMORE SEASON
Played in three games for the Pirates… recorded five solo tackles and nine assisted efforts… had one tackle for a loss of four yards… broke up three passes on the season… recovered two fumbles and forced one fumble.

2007 FRESHMAN SEASON
Played in nine of the Pirates’ 11 games… recorded seven solo tackles and eight assisted tackles… had one rush for three yards in a win over Morgan State… had one kick return for 46 yards on the season, recorded in a season-opening win at Howard.

MAURY HIGH SCHOOL
First Team AAA All-State as a defensive back and second team as a punt returner… All-Region, All-Tidewater and All-District… selected to play in the East-West All-Star Game… helped lead the Commodores to an Eastern District championship in 2006.

PERSONAL
Born Jan. 16, 1988… son of Kathryn Johnson… has one brother, Datron (16)… aunt Veronica Johnson is a graduate of Hampton University… featured in The Virginian-Pilot… majoring in criminal justice.
