NOMINATION PACKAGE
Updated: 5/31/19
Hampton University has long been recognized nationally for its pursuit of "Excellence in Education" and excelling in intercollegiate sports. At Hampton University, as we prepare our students to be tomorrow's leaders, it is important that they are successful in the classroom and on the playing field. Hampton University, one of the nation's oldest Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), is proud of the many student-athletes, coaches, administrators, faculty and support personnel who have fostered that "Pirate Pride" to allow us to be champions in many sports. Consequently, an Athletics Hall of Fame has been established to acknowledge and honor those individuals who made superior and outstanding contributions while attending or working at the University and who have and exemplify high standards, moral character and integrity and were and continue to be respected and held in high esteem by their peers and the community in which they live.
The HU Athletics Hall of Fame also shall be a "hall of distinction" and it shall reflect the University's reputation and image as one of America's premier institutions of higher education.
We encourage you to nominate a deserving individual to be considered for induction into the Hampton University Athletics Hall of Fame. The nomination form is attached and it can also be found on the World Wide Web at www.hamptonpirates.com.
