Averaged 88.4 over 20 rounds of action on the season… opened the season with a 55-over 271 (86-91-94) to tie for 73rd in the Manor Intercollegiate… finished tied for 52nd in the Bethune-Cookman Invitational with a 73-over 289 (91-104-94)… shot a 26-over 168 (80-88) to finish in a tie for 30th in the Savannah State Fall Invitational… led the Pirates by finished 21st in the Winston-Salem State Spring Challenge with a 30-over 172 (83-89)… shot a 26-over 170 (89-81) to tie for 26th in the Alabama A&M Golf Classic… also shot a 26-over 170 (87-83) in the Carolina Sands Intercollegiate to finish 85th… finished 41st in the Mount St. Mary’s Spring Invitational with a 55-over 271 (100-84-87)… shot a 40-over 256 (85-81-90) to finish tied for 53rd in the PGA Minority Collegiate Championship.

2008-09 SOPHOMORE SEASON
Averaged an 85.2 over 13 rounds on the year… shot three rounds in the 70s on the year… saw his only action in the fall at the Holiday Inn Colonial, firing a 35-over 179 (94-85) to finish 56th… opened the spring at the Don Benbow North-South, finishing in a tie for 66th after firing a 20-over 160 (84-76)… that second-round 76 was a season low… finished a personal-best ninth in the Winston-Salem Ram Invitational, shooting a 33-over 175 (93-82)… fired a 26-over 170 (88-82) at the South Carolina State Bulldog Classic to finish tied for 29th… finished 67th in the Mount St. Mary’s Spring Invitational after shooting a 37-over 181 (91-90)… closed the year at the PGA Minority Collegiate Championship, finishing in a tie for 38th with a 27-over 243 (78-90-75).

SOUTHWEST DEKALB HIGH SCHOOL
Played golf all four years… named co-captain as a sophomore… was also team captain as a junior and senior… finished sixth in the DeKalb County Championships as a junior… won the DeKalb County Championship as a senior… also played baseball as a sophomore and junior.

PERSONAL
Born Feb. 25, 1990… son of Melissa and Sidney Fields… has one sister, Melanie (17)… nicknamed Sid… featured in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution… majoring in business management, pursuing a five-year MBA… wants to become a financial advisor.
