WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Freshman guard Jericka Jenkins (Lancaster, Texas) scored a game- and career-high 12 points, but it was not enough as the Hampton University Women’s Basketball team fell 82-55 to Georgetown on Tuesday night at McDonough Arena.
Jenkins, a true freshman, played 25 minutes and had a pair of steals and rebounds.

Choicetta McMillian (Fairfield, Texas) had 10 points with three rebounds and four steals.
Monica McNutt led the Hoyas with 21 points. She made five 3-pointers and went 8-of-11 from the field while only playing 20 minutes. Adria Crawford had 18 points.
In the first half, both teams had 18 points coming off the bench, while in the second half Georgetown had 25 to the Lady Pirates’ 11. The Hoyas had ten more second-chance points than Hampton in the first half.
The Lady Pirates continue up I-95 to face Temple on Saturday at 2 p.m. The Lady Pirates (0-4) will return home to face their rival Howard University on Dec. 6 at 6 p.m.
