ORANGEBURG, S.C. – The Hampton University women's golf team won the South Carolina State University Triangular Tournament, held Saturday and Sunday at the Orangeburg Country Club. The Lady Pirates finished with a two-round total of 675, 99 over par.

Iman Ellis (Reynoldsburg, Ohio) won the individual title with a 16-over 160, shooting a team- and tournament-best 79 on Sunday. Sydnee Mauk's 20-over 164 was good enough to finish second. Dionne West (Springdale, Md.)shot +29 to come in fourth.

Hailey Hill (Charlotte, N.C.) shot a 38-over 182 to come in seventh, while Britney Alford (Westerville, Ohio) finished eighth with a 43-over par score of 187.
