OCEAN CITY, Md. -- The Hampton University Women's golf team traveled to Ocean City, MD to compete in the University of Maryland Eastern Shore Invitational this week and captured the team title. 
 
The Lady Pirates won the event with rounds of 327-342 to total 669 as they were topped by a strong performance by Jakari Harris who placed second overall.  
 
This marks the second straight tournament title for the Lady Pirates after winning the Hampton University Invitational last month.

·         Harris shot 73-76 for a 149 total only five over par
 
·         Lauren Artis would shot 83-82 to total 165 landing her in fourth place
