Lady Pirates 2009-10 golf schedule

HAMPTON, Va. – The Hampton University men's and women's golf teams, under the direction of head coach Reggie Mitchell, released their spring 2010 schedules on Wednesday.

The Pirates and Lady Pirates will open the spring season on March 19-21 in the Winston-Salem State Tournament, which will he held at the Winston Lakes Gold Course in Winston-Salem, N.C. before heading to Scottsboro, Ala. and the Goose Pond Colony Golf Course for the Alabama A&M Golf Classic on March 28-30.

The Pirates will then compete in the Carolina Sands Intercollegiate at the Carolina Sands at White Lake in Elizabethtown, N.C. on April 1-3, while the Lady Pirates will compete in the University of Hartford Invitational on April 11-13 at the Rockledge Gold Club in Hartford, Conn.

The Pirates will then participate in the Mount St. Mary's Spring Invitational on April 18-20 at the Quail Valley Golf Course in Littlestown, Pa., while the Lady Pirates will compete in the Women in Golf Foundation Tournament on April 23-25 at the Mirror Lake Golf Course in Atlanta, Ga.

Both teams will close out the season May 7-10 at the 24th annual PGA Minority Collegiate Championships at the Ryder and Wanamaker Courses in Port St. Lucie, Fla.
