TEAM FINISH: The Hampton men's golf team finished second in the University of Maryland Eastern Shore Invitational. Collectively the Pirates shot rounds of 309-310-302 for a 921 total.
 
ON THE COURSE

• Sophomore Everett Whiten Jr. was tied for second at six-over-par with rounds of 74-73-75. 
• Jairus Gaines would tie for sixth place with rounds of 73-78-79 for a 230 total.
• Hadley Kramer placed ninth with a 233 total on rounds of 81-78-74.
• Arriek Douglas was alone at 12th after rounds of 81-84-74 for a 239 total.
• Sophomore Mateo Manranares shots rounds of 82-81-83 for a total of 246 to tie for 16th.

Hampton will be back on the green in Prospect Bay, Md Oct. 19^th-20^th, as they participate in the Towson University Invite.
