TEAM FINISH: The Hampton University men's golf team placed 7^th at the Black College Hall of Fame. Both, Everett Whiten Jr. and Jairus Gaines would tie for a 12^th place finish.
 
ON THE COURSE

• Whiten Jr. was tied for 12^th at five-over-par with rounds of 73-76 for a 149 total. 
• Gaines 227 total with rounds of 71-78 at five-over-par tied for 12^th.
• Arriek Douglas tied for 39^th scoring rounds of 85-85 for a 170 total.
• Freshman Hadley Kramer was next for Hampton scoring a 179 total with rounds of 90-89 to place 43^rd.

Hampton travels to ocean city, Md to participate in the University of Maryland Eastern Shore Invitational on Oct. 15 – Oct. 16.
