WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The Hampton University women's golf team finished 13th at the C&F Bank Intercollegiate, which was hosted by the College of William & Mary Sunday through Tuesday at the Kingsmill Resort.
The Lady Pirates finished with a three-day score of 979 (342-327-310), recording a +127 as a team. Longwood won the team title with a 60-over 912 (300-303-309).
Senior
Iman Ellis (Reynoldsburg, Ohio) led the Lady Pirates with a 30-over 243 (87-82-74), finishing in a tie for 54th, while junior
Kayla Williams (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) fired a 31-over 244 (87-81-76) to come in a tie for 56th.
Ellis' third-round 74 was Hampton's low round of the tournament.
Junior
Nicole West (Springdale, Md.) came in a tie for 66th with a 37-over 250 (88-84-78), while senior
Dionne West (Springdale, Md.) shot a 38-over 251 (81-88-82) to come in a tie for 68th.
Sophomore
Maria Stewart (Newport News, Va.) shot a 42-over 255 (87-80-88) to finish tied for 76th.
Longwood's Kameron Carter won the individual championship, topping the leaderboard with an 8-over 221 (71-74-76).
