MYRTLE BEACH, SC – The Hampton University men's golf team finished 15
th in the Bash At The Beach hosted by Appalachian State at the Surf Golf and Beach Club on Monday.
South Carolina-Beaufort won the team title at 22-over-par 874 for the three-round event as they edged George Washington University by one stroke.
TJ Osborne was the low man for Hampton in the event with rounds of 80-76-74 for a three-day total of 230 to finish tied for 42
nd.
TJ O'Neal was next for Hampton with rounds of 73-84-78 to total 235 and tie for 62
nd.
Alex Rivera followed him with rounds of 81-83-79 for a 243 total and a share of 78
th. Rounding out the Pirates in the event were
Jordan Samuels (76-86-86-248/T87) and
Justin Bates (93-98-93-284/96
th).
Next up for the men's golf team will be the Cape Fear Intercollegiate held at Cape Fear, N.C. March 19-20.
