LELAND, NC – The Hampton Men's golf team finished 15
th in the Cape Fear National Intercollegiate on Tuesday.
Jacksonville State won the team title 26-over-par 890 in the thrilling three round event passing Florida Gulf Coast U by eight strokes.
Jordan Samuels finished as Hampton's low man with rounds of 78-79-81 finishing with a three-day total of 238 tied for 52
nd.
Alex Rivera was next for Hampton with rounds of 77-85-78 finishing with a total of 240 tied for 57
th. Taylor Osborne followed after him with rounds of 85-85-74 ending with 244 tying for 67
th.
TJ O'Neal came in 88
th with rounds of 89-89-86 ending with a total of 264.
Justin Bates finishing up for the Pirates finished with rounds of 103-95-90 with a total of 288 finishing at 94
th.
Next up for the men's golf team will be the MEAC Golf Championship April 27-29 in Savannah, GA.
