IN BRIEF: Hampton shot its lowest 36-hole tournament score in the last 10 years coming in with a 599 total to finish 13
th in the Bucknell Invitational on Tuesday.. The Pirates shot 300-299 over the two-day event.
ON THE COURSE
- Everett Withen was the low man for Hampton in the event after rounds of 76-69 for a 145 total to finish tied for 22nd.
- Jairus Gaines was next for Hampton with rounds of 73-76 for a 149 total and a tie for 43rd finish.
- Taylor Osborne came in tied for 65th with rounds of 73-79 for 152.
- Jordan Samuels carded rounds of 78-81 for a 159 and a tie for 83rd.
- Arriek Douglas shot rounds of 86-75 for a 161 total and finished 87th.
JUST MISSED
The 299 round on Tuesday just missed the lowest single-round in the last 10 years as the Pirates shot a 298 last year at the UMES Collegiate Golf Challenge.
