th place after a pair of 308 rounds. JuniorÂ
Arriek Douglas T27th was Hampton's top finisher at Laurel Hill Golf Club. Sunday morning rains washed out the third round of the event.

- Douglas tied for 27th in the field, shooting 76-70=146 over the 36 holes.
- Everett Whiten Jr. tied 66th with a 155, scoring a 75 in the first round and finish with an 80 in the final round.Â
- Host George Mason (+4) takes 1st place. Towson (+8) finished as runner-up, followed by George Washington University (+9).
- Jordan Samuels scored a first-round 78 and shot 80 in the final round to tie for a 70th place in the first 36 holes for the Pirates.
- Alex Rivera and Jairus Gaines would tie for 75th with a +20 over par.Â

Due to Hurricane Florence, the second annual Hampton Invitational at Sleepy Hole Golf course in Suffolk on September 17-18 was canceled. Hampton Pirates will now participate in the UMES Invitational October 16-17.
