TEAM FINISH: The Hampton men's golf team finished fifth in the BCGCA Intercollegiate this past weekend after rounds of 331-328 for a 659.
ON THE COURSE
- Freshman Everett Whiten Jr. placed 23rd after rounds of 83-84 for a 167.
- Jairus Gaines and Jordan Samuels was tied for 32nd. Gaines shot 95-86 for a 181 total, while Samuels shot 90-91 for a 181.
- Arriek Douglas was alone in ninth place after scoring rounds of 81-76 for a 157 total.
- Taylor Osborne placed 11th tallying a 77-82 for a 159 total.
NEXT UP
Hampton will travel to Cape Fear, N.C., and participate in the Cape Fear National March 16-18.
