LELAND, N.C. – The Hampton University men's golf team finished eighth this week in the Cape Fear National Intercollegiate hosted by Appalachian State.

Rhode Island won the event with a three-round 884, followed by South Carolina Beaufort (890) and host Appalachian State (928).  Hampton carded rounds of 325-336-330 for a 991 total.
