CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Junior hurdler Autumn Smith was named on Wednesday as the Big South Conference Women's Track Athlete of the Week for the week ending March 17 by the conference office.

Smith ran a 13.96 in the 100 meter hurdles at the Shamrock Invitational in Myrtle Beach, S.C. to take first place in the first event of the spring for Hampton.

The track teams will run this weekend in Richmond at the VCU Relays.
