HAMPTON, Va. – The Hampton men's tennis team finished a three-match in three-days string by falling 7-0 to Campbell University at home on a warm Monday afternoon.
The doubles point was clinched at line two with a 6-2 Campbell win.
Luke Thompson and Davy vanGeerke were trailing 4-3 at line one when the team point was locked up. In singles, the Camels won all the singles matches in straight sets to take the team win.
Hampton will now visit Longwood on Wednesday for a match before honoring its seniors on Thursday against Gardner-Webb at home.
