HAMPTON, Va. - Najee Garvin had a double-double of 20 points and 11 rebounds, while Raymond Bethea added 19 and eight rebounds as Hampton overcame a slow start to defeat Regent on Saturday night.
Neither team shot the ball well, but Hampton had Mario Haskett add eight points, Russell Dean added seven and four assists while Luc Therrien had six points.  No one shot higher than 40% on the night from the floor.
