WOMEN'S SOCCER ANNOUNCES INCOMING RECRUITING CLASSES

Hampton University Head Coach Momoh Kanneh announced today his incoming additions to the women's soccer roster for the fall.  Between the classes of 2020 and 2021, a total of 17 new Lady Pirates will take the pitch in late August as Hampton will kick off its 2021 season.

According to Kanneh, recruiting during the COVID-19 pandemic definitely made him alter his approach but he is extremely happy with the result.  "I have always been a big believer in watching a player on the field, be it either in an I.D. camp or a clinic to see the student-athlete's attitude, dedication, commitment and character on and off the field," he said.  "Getting on zoom calls with the student-athletes and parents helped to get everyone's questions answered in a group setting."

Looking ahead with this group, Kanneh is very much looking forward to seeing all his team again.  "This group has many talented players who will fit in well with the returning group," Kanneh said.  "I can't wait to get them all together and get back to work."
