EMMITSBURG, MD – The Hampton men's lacrosse team fell Saturday to Mount St.Mary's 17-5.
 
Miles Fawcett (2g, 0a) leads the way with two goals scored in the contest. Andre Meyers, Andre Mills and Lonnie Jones all scored a goal for the Pirates. Ethan Mitchell recorded two assists on the day.
 
The Mount started the game on a 7-0 scoring run, however, the Pirates were able to tack on a goal of their own, making the score 7-1 after the first period. The Pirates were able to score two goals in the second period but fell behind 13-3 at halftime.
 
Hampton scored two more goals in the fourth period, but were not able to overcome Mt. St.Mary's offense as they went on to take the win.
 
The Pirates will have their first home game of the season Monday, February 21 against VMI at 4 p.m.
