HAMPTON, VA – The Hampton Lady Pirates fell at home to Longwood 77-51 Sunday afternoon.
Nylah Young lead the way with 15 points and five rebounds.
Jermany Mapp scored 10 points (1-2 3FG) and grabbed four rebound off the bench.
Hampton fell behind early in the first quarter but were able to bounce back and trail just 20-14 by the end of the period. However, Longwood managed to take a commanding 38-25 lead by halftime.
The Lancers opened up their lead by as many as 28 points in the second half, cruising to victory.
The Lady Pirates will play their home season finale Tuesday, February 22 at 7 p.m. in the first of two matchups against Radford.
