HAMPTON, VA- The Pirates sailing team competed in the Eckerd Intersectional in Florida this past weekend.
 
The Pirates DIV. A team captured a sixth-place finish, highlighted by a good day from sophomore Valerio Palamara and junior Can Dilikoglu. 
 
The DIV. B team received an overall 9th place finish, the duo of Stefano Palamara and Tommy Ciaglia had an up and down day that featured some good races.
 
"There were good races and also some mistakes made this weekend," said head coach Alessandro Ambrosi.

The Pirates will return to action March 26-27 competing in the Hanbury Cup at Christopher Newport University in Newport News, VA.
