NORFOLK, Va. (Apr. 13, 2026) … The Hampton University sailing team finished 12th out of 14 in The Grant over the weekend. 

The Pirates put together a team scored of 307 points over the course of 14 regattas. Hampton's top finishes came in the A division, as they placed sixth or better in five regattas, with their best being a fourth place finish in the 10th. The Pirates A division was comprised of Ivet Bejar, Micah Brandel, and Maggie Cesario-McKeon. 

Jackson Manley was the skipper of the B division while Kera Beckles, Cesario-Mckeon, and Brandel rounded out the team.
