HAMPTON, VA … The Baltimore Orioles will celebrate Historically Black College and Universities (HBCUs) on Thursday, Sept. 28 when the Orioles take on the Boston Red Sox in an American League East Division battle. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. at Oriole Park at Camden Yards (333 W. Camden St., Baltimore, Md.)
Representatives from 10 HBCU universities including alumni, fans, students, and university officials as well as local HBCU organizations will gather to honor the rich history and acknowledge the contributions of HBCU institutions. Universities represented will include Hampton, Virginia State, Virginia Union, Bowie State, Coppin State, Delaware State, Morgan State, Norfolk State, South Carolina State, Maryland-Eastern Shore, and representatives from the HBCU Foundation and Black Sports Professionals.
The Orioles will donate $5 from each ticket sold to each university's cause. Ticket promo codes:
