High-Flying Canyon Stevenson to Attend Airborne School

HAMPTON, VA. ... Hampton lacrosse player Canyon Stevenson is attending Airborne School this summer. The sophomore is a member of the Hampton ROTC and is a midfielder on the Pirate lacrosse team. The United States Army Airborne School conducts paratrooper training for U.S. Armed Forces. Known as Jump School, it is operated by the 1st Airborne Battalion at Fort Moore, Ga.
Stevenson had nine shots and registered an assist in 2022 in his first season at Hampton. A native of Phoenix, Ariz., Stevenson graduated from Desert Vista High and played on the Arizona Outlaws club team.
Stevenson will receive training in jumping, parachuting and participating in military activities while at Fort Moore.
