The Cincinnati, Ohio, native came to Hampton after spending two years with the NFL's Minnesota Vikings. With the Vikings, he served as Team Operations Assistant and Personnel Operations Associate. His duties included working with the NFL Combine, draft, analyzing free agents and attending college Pro Days.

Prior to his time with the Vikings, Jenkins spent 2021-22 as the track & field director of operations at Minnesota after spending a year as an account executive with the Cleveland Cavaliers. He has also worked in guest relations and client services with the Carolina Panthers and as a recruiting services intern with Nike.
