HAMPTON, Va. (Nov. 8, 2024) … Coach Trenton Boykin announced the signing of 11 football players to grants-in-aid to attend Hampton University. Seven of the signees play on defense and four on offense. Four are natives of Virginia coming from Virginia Beach, Hopewell and two from Richmond. In addition, the group includes two players each from North Carolina and Ohio as well as one player each from New Jersey, Tennessee, and Georgia.

"We are excited to announce the signing of 11 players to football grant-in-aid for the upcoming season," Boykin said. "We were able to address some immediate needs and believe they will make a positive impact. Our goal is to compete for championships and I believe this recruiting class represents the beginning building blocks to reach our goal."
