WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (Feb. 12, 2025) … The Hampton University men's tennis team fell in its first Coastal Athletic Association matchup of the season to host William & Mary 7-0 on Wednesday night.
In doubles, the Tribe scored wins at all three spots by scores of 6-2, 6-3 and 6-2 to take the team point.
Singles saw
Benedict Badza push his opponent to a third-set super tie-breaker falling 4-6, 6-1, 10-8 to Sean Joseph at line three. The Tribe won the rest of the matches in straight sets.
Hampton (0-2) now heads to Navy for a 9 a.m. match on Saturday, February 15.
