ATLANTA, Ga. (April 21, 2025) … The Hampton University track and field programs competed over the weekend at the Georgia Tech Invitational and came away with six personal best times and seven top three finishers along with two victories.
Jordan Mozie took a first-place finish in the 800 meters with a 2:05.27 to win by over a second over Aliyah Williams of Alabama A&M. That time puts her second in the CAA at 800 meters.
Joining her with victories was
Rochele Solmon with a personal best of 51.12m (167-8) to win the discus. This was her third straight top three finish of the outdoor season, and her toss has her now sitting third in the CAA in the discus.
The men's 4x400 relay team just missed out as

Justin Anderson,
Ibrahim Abdalla,
Mohammed Al-YaFee ran 3:10.69 to take fifth place. They ran a season best of 3:10.70 at the Raleigh Relays.
