RICHMOND, Va. (Aug. 10, 2026) … Hampton University junior midfielder Nylah Jennings was named on Monday to the 2026 Preseason All-CAA Honorable Mention team by a vote of the league's coaches.

Jennings started all 18 matches last season and was tops on the team in goals scored with five and in total points with 12. The Bowie, Md., native scored two goals against Bluefield State and had single tallies against Howard, South Carolina State and UNCW.

This marks the second straight season Hampton had representation on the preseason team as Keri Geter earned the honor last year.

Hampton opens its season on Wednesday night at 8 p.m. at Indiana.
