Thompson had a solid freshman run finishing with a 6-14 record overall and an impressive 6-4 conference mark. .. played the No. 2, No. 3 and No. 4 positions for the Lady Pirates…had an impressive 12-4 record in doubles play, playing mainly with Viviane Costa at the No. 3 spot…Thompson and Costa finished with a remarkable conference best 8-0 record at No. 3 doubles.

Syreeta was born on July 17, 1987 to parents William and Vervitine Thompson. Played high school tennis at Spring Valley High School under coach Freddie Lawrence. Thompson is a Sport Management major.
