Hampton University Athletics

Will Judson is entering his second year with the Hampton University football program, serving as a graduate assistant and wide receivers coach. Judson played wide receiver from 2005-09 with the University of Illinois. He earned the Key Contributor Award with the Illini in 2008 while being the second leading receiver on the team, finishing the year with 21 receptions for 401 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The highlight of the season was when he had five catches for 177 yards against Missouri in the season opener. 

Judson then spent a semester as an assistant strength and conditioning coach with the Illini football team, while finishing up his Bachelor’s degree in sports management. He went on to intern with the Detroit Lions as a scout in 2009. 

Judson had brief stint with Lindsey Wilson College in spring 2010 as wide receivers coach, before joining the Pirates.
