2007 JUNIOR SEASON
Played in 10 of the Pirates’ 11 games… recorded 52 tackles on the season, 23 solo… had 2.5 tackles for a loss, totaling eight yards… recorded half a sack for three yards in a win at Bethune-Cookman… intercepted a pass and returned it three yards in a win over Morgan State.
2006 SOPHOMORE SEASON
Appeared in all 12 games for the Pirates, earning his first career start against New Hampshire in the NCAA playoffs… totaled 28 total tackles on the year, 19 of which were solo… second on the squad with five sacks and fourth on the team with 7.5 tackles for loss… turned in his best performance in an HU uniform with six tackles (four solo), 3.5 tackles for loss and three sacks against Norfolk State, earning Defensive Player of the Game honors at the Battle of the Bay… had another solid outing in the regular-season finale at Florida A&M, returning an interception 24 yards and forcing a fumble on a quarterback sack that he returned for 13 yards to set up a touchdown for the Pirate offense… closed out the season with four stops against New Hampshire, including one behind the line of scrimmage.
2005 FRESHMAN SEASON
Saw action in six games on the season… began the year as a scout team player but was quickly added to the travel squad… tallied nine total tackles, including five solo stops… had his best outing against Savannah State in the regular-season finale, where he recorded five tackles and returned a fumble 27 yards… also registered stops against Delaware State, Gardner-Webb and Norfolk State.
BENEDICTINE HIGH SCHOOL
Three-year letterman for Coach Art Bortnick and the Bengals… helped guide BHS to back-to-back state championships in 2003 and 2004… state runner-up in 2002… registered 137 tackles, including 10 for loss and two sacks as a senior… honorable mention all-state, all-county, all-district… selected to play in the East vs. West All-Star Game.
