DES MOINES, Iowa –
Former Hampton University track & field star Kellie Wells finished second in the 100-meter hurdles on Saturday at the 2010 USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships held at Drake Stadium on the campus of Drake University.

Wells, representing Nike, ran a 12.84 in the final, coming in second behind Asics' Lolo Jones, who ran a 12.69.

Wells finished second in her heat in the first round on Friday, running a 12.99 to finish fifth overall in the round and move on to the semifinals. There, she ran a 13.08 to finish second in her heat and fourth overall.
