HAMPTON, Va. – Hampton University juniors Je'Von Hutchison and Breana Norman were named HU Athletes of the Week on Monday, following their respective performances on the track this past weekend.

Hutchison (Boynton, Fla.) won the men's 600-meter run in the CNU Holiday Open this past Saturday, turning in a time of 1:20.22. He was also on the Pirates' 4x400-meter relay team that came in second with a 3:20.79.

Hutchison's title was the only one of the weekend for the Pirates.

Norman (Virginia Beach, Va.) won the women's 60-meter hurdles at the CNU Holiday Open with an 8.56, while also running a 7.48 to come in second in the 60-meter dash. She was also on the 4x400-meter relay team that came in second with a 3:52.10.

Norman achieved ECAC qualification in all three events.
