HAMPTON BASKETBALL ON ESPN NETWORKS THREE TIMES

HAMPTON, Va. – With conference play cranking up this week, Hampton University basketball will find itself on the ESPN family of networks three times over the course of the next month or so.
 
It starts on Saturday, Jan. 16, when the Lady Pirates' contest at North Carolina A&T will be broadcast live on ESPN3. The Lady Pirates are the five-time defending MEAC regular-season champions, while the Aggies are the preseason favorites to win the MEAC this season.
 
That game will tip off at 2 p.m.
 
The Pirates will be on ESPNU twice in the coming month; on Monday, Jan. 18, Hampton's contest at North Carolina Central will be broadcast live. The Eagles are the two-time defending MEAC regular-season champions and the 2015-16 preseason favorite, while the Pirates are the defending MEAC Tournament champions and were picked to finish second this season.
 
That game will tip at 9 p.m.
 
In addition, the Pirates' home game against Morgan State on Monday, Feb. 15 at 7 p.m. will be broadcast live on ESPNU.
 
ESPN will also carry both championship games of the MEAC Tournament; the men's championship game will air live on ESPN2 on Saturday, March 12 at 1 p.m. The women's title game will air live on ESPN3 that same day, before airing via tape delay on ESPNU on Sunday, March 13 at 11 a.m.
