CLINTON, S.C. -- The Hampton University women's tennis team dropped their Big South opener on Saturday morning to Presbyterian 4-0 at the Templeton Tennis Courts.

Presbyterian won the doubles point winning 6-2 at line one and 6-1 at line three.  Hampton was trailing 4-3 at line two when the doubles point was clinched.  In singles, Presbyterian won at line two, three and six to clinch the match.

Hampton (0-3, 0-1) returns to action on Saturday hosting Radford at 11 am.
