ORLANDO, Fla. – Hampton University women's tennis team opened their Spring Break schedule at the United States Tennis Association National Campus falling 7-0 to East Carolina University on Monday. 

In doubles action, Haley Mullins and Julia D'Auvergne won 6-3 at line three. East Carolina would take the doubles point winning 6-0 at line one and 6-3 at line two. In singles, East Carolina would sweep Hampton to take the match.

Hampton (0-6, 0-2) returns to action on Tuesday in Orlando, Florida against the University of South Dakota at 11:30pm and North Carolina Wesleyan College at 7:30pm.
