VIRGINIA BEACH, VA - The Hampton Lady Pirates fell against the University of Richmond 7-0 earlier today at Virginia Beach Tennis and Country Club.

In singles, Laura Peralta dropped a three-set match at three singles to Helene Heiberg.  After losing the first set 6-3, Peralta won the second set 6-2 but fell 10-2 in the third-set tiebreaker. Tori Alexander lost 6-3, 6-1 at line five singles, while Viktoria Ljungman lost 6-2, 6-1 at line two singles. In doubles Richmond won all three matches.

The Lady Pirates will return to action Feb 21 facing Winthrop University.
