Davion Warren was named Big South Conference Player of the Week for the third time this season as announced by the conference office on Monday.
Warren had a strong week as the Pirates swept a series at USC Upstate. The Buffalo, N.Y. native averaged 30.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists in the two wins. Â
In game one, he had a career-high 34 points and eight rebounds as the Pirates won 69-68. The last two of his 34 helped ice the game hitting two free throws with six seconds left.  The next day he scored 18 of his game-high 27 points in the second half to go along with eight rebounds and four assists in an 84-74 win.
For the week he was 21-of-41 from the field (51.2%) and hit 13-of-15 (86.7%) from the foul line. On the year, he is averaging a Big South Conference leading 21.8 points.
